Session 1: Week of June 16th ($650)

Session 2: Weeks of June 23rd, June 30th (no camp on July 4th) ($1170)

Session 3: Weeks of July 7th, July 14th, July 21st ($1950)

Session 4: Weeks of July 28th, August 4th & August 11th ($1950)

Session 5: Weeks of August 18th, August 25th ($1300)

SINGLE WEEKS OPTIONS WILL OPEN IF SPACES ARE AVAILABLE AFTER 5/1

Refund Policy:

Sawyer, our registration and payment platform, collects 3.5% of the full cost of each session of camp at the time of booking, therefore, processing fees are 3.5% of the FULL session of camp that will not be returned if you need to cancel camp.  A full refund (minus 3.5% processing fees of full camp session and the $500 non-refundable deposit per session) will be issued if notified in writing 4/1/24. A 50% refund (minus 3.5% processing fees of full camp session and the $500 non-refundable deposit per session) will be issued if notified by 5/1/24. Refunds of balance payments will not be issued after 5/1/24. No exceptions will be made for any reason.

We are thrilled to announce our Hugs & Bugs Club Summer Camp 2024 is open for registration! There will be so much for your children to explore with different themes each week, field trips around town, and much more!

Summer camp is available for children 4-8 years old at our 537 Park Avenue location. Children must be 4 by June 15th. Keeping in mind the mental health and physical health of our children, we will continue to hold summer camp on a session basis. We have four sessions this summer with the same group of children enrolled to maintain a fabulous social atmosphere. We also offer single weeks option after May 1st if space is available.

Sessions will be held at Monday-Friday from 9:30am-2pm.

SESSION ONE:

Week ONE 6/17-6/21

Planting new seeds

Children will help to prepare our special garden area and learn about new growth, gardening, propagating and worms.

SESSION TWO:  

Week Two 6/24-6/28

Bringing the Outdoors in

We believe that children learn best through curious investigation of their environment. This week we will explore  Hoboken parks to learn about Mother Nature. We will investigate found materials, make potions and art projects with our findings, learn about various types of wood and see what creations we can make together.

Week THREE 7/1-7/5 (no camp 7/4)

BUGS BUGS BUGS

Bugs are amazing and teach us so much about ourselves and the world around us. This week we will learn about these creepy crawlers and where they live as we go on field trips around town searching for them.

SESSION three:

Week Four 7/8-7/12

Blast from the Past

What’s your favorite dinosaur? I’m sure your child has more than one! Let’s learn about these magnificent creatures this week while we make prints in clay, sift through sand bins for dinosaur bones, explore herbivores favorite foods, dig for dinosaur eggs and go on our very own dinosaur dig in the park!

Week Five 7/15-7/19

Art Mash Up

Many cultures have expressed their love of art through various mediums. This week we will learn about different cultures and the art materials used to make beautiful pieces such as clay, cardboard, negative spaces, wires, wood, paint, yarn, etc.

The week will culminate with our space transforming into an art gallery

Week six 7/22-7/26

Olympics

This week is all about testing our strength and endurance by creating fun olympic style games! Are you ready?!

SESSION FOUR:

Week Seven 7/29-8/2

Cast Away

We will dive into a world of knot-making, colored sand, hidden notes, and pirate maps. And to end our awesome Cast Away week,  we will use problem-solving and teamwork to complete our very own scavenger hunt around town!

Week eight 8/5-8/9

Hugs & Bugs Club Marketplace

Did you know shells have been used for thousands of years as currency? This week we will learn about various types of currency through fun math games, evaluate what something is worth, and make our own very own Hugs & Bugs Club market!

WEek nine 8/12-8/16

Knights & Magic

Let’s add a dash of magic and some battles between good and evil as we explore the art of storytelling. We will create our own magical worlds, write our own stories to enact, make our own battle gear and magic potions!

SESSION Five:

Week ten 8/19-8/23

A Community of Superheroes

For Hugs & Bugs Club, superhero week is all about helping our local community and meeting the “superheroes” in our own backyard. We’ll explore the different roles people play in our city like Hoboken Fire Department. We will also partner with a local charity to put our creativity to good use.

Week eleven 8/26-8/30

Lights, Camera, Action!

Our children will create their own characters and write their script together! They will prepare their wardrobe, accessories and makeup as well as their set pieces and maybe some fun accents too! Parents will be able to watch their movie via our app!
